Building materials
CTR group is a grouping of many companies whose activities can be divided into four main areas - production of building materials, international and national transport, development and management of real estate, production of zeolitic articles.
Regarding the production of building materials in the portfolio of CTR group there is the company VSH a.s. in Turňa nad Bodvou comprising a cement plant with the annual capacity of 700 000t of cement, 3 gravel pits and 8 concrete mixing plants including one mobile concrete mixing plant in the region of Eastern Slovakia where we enjoy a very significant position. The technological appliances of the cement plant belong among the best in Central Europe. Particularly the region of Eastern Slovakia is supplied with our cement; a part of the Czech Republic and a part of Hungary are also supplied with our cement.
The actual fleet of trucks of the whole group amounts currently to 250 means of transport within 5 carrier companies (CTR group a.s., TransPlus (Cesko) s.r.o., TransPlus (Slovensko) s.r.o., VSH Trans s.r.o., TransPlus d.o.o.). The group has at its disposal canvas-covered sets for the transport of palletized goods, tipper sets for bulk cargoes, special sets for both pallets and for bulk cargoes, cisterns for the transport of bulk materials, concrete mixers and pumps for the transport of concrete and also vehicles for special transports (for example containers and tanks for alternative fuels). This fact provides the company independence necessary for further improvement of the logistic processes quality and also a space for optimization of the spent cost. It also enables us to respond promptly to the clients needs and to satisfy all their requests under advantageous conditions.
The development and management of real estate has so far concerned exclusively the territory of Prague and its near surroundings. A department of the company CTR group is engaged in this activity. 15 independent projects were already realized in the past ten years. These projects included the development of administrative buildings, reconstruction of older buildings and also the development of new buildings. Currently there are 3 new projects being realized on the territory of Prague in different stages. These projects focus particularly on the development of new flats.
The company Zeocem a.s. in Bystré in Eastern Slovakia is engaged in the production of zeolitic articles. The company has a long-standing experience in processing zeolit, which it gets from a nearby quarry where there is one of the best quality zeolitic beds worldwide. Thanks to that the company is able to offer its clients products of high quality.
